Finding your device's operating system version

From iOS Devices:

• To find your operating system on iOS devices, tap the Settings icon on your device.

• Next, tap General and then tap About.

Version should list your software version as a number (e.g., 5.1.1).
 

From Android Devices:

• To find your operating system on Android devices, tap the Settings icon on your device.

• Scroll down to System, and tap About About Phone.

• Android version should list your software version as a number (e.g., 4.0.1).
 

From Amazon Kindle Fire Devices:

• To find your operating system on Amazon Kindle Fire devices, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap More.

• Tap the Device label in your settings list.

• Tap About and under System Version should be listed your software version as a number (e.g., 4.0.1).
